Los Van Van in Cuba are the equivalent to The Beatles in the US. History has transformed them into an ageless phenomenon across Cuba.
From slow-stepping grandparents, to families, to college student and a splattering of foreigners El Sauce was jammed packed full of fans.
The dancing started before the music, when the tense excitement grew to be too much to contain. When the music did begin, a funky mix of instruments and styles called Fusion in Cuba, not even the rain could stop the show.
Overall it was an incredible show, complete with five star people watching and a night of salsa dancing.
